We are Goodwell Co.

Hi there! We're the team behind the products and vision here at Goodwell. The company started in late 2014 as a side project of our founder and CEO, Patrick Triato, and has since grown into a tiny giant company in the sustainable oral care market.

 

Did you know that almost 80% of the world's oral care products are made and distributed by 2 multinational conglomerates? This monoculturalistic saturation of product has cascading effects on the availability of choice for customers, as well as the magnitude for what inevitably ends up in the landfill (for thousands of years). 850 million plastic toothbrushes end up in landfills every year, in the USA alone. 15 billion batteries are made and sold every year, of which 87% end up in landfills, 12% are incinerated, and only 1% are actually recycled. Statistics like this send a chill down our collective spine and continue to be the seed of true innovation behind the products we design and manufacture at Goodwell. Our products are dentist recommended, design centered, and innately better for the planet we share.

 

We are a carbon neutral company, so just by simply using our products you can write off at least two things you do every single day as being neutral to your carbon footprint. We are a 1% for the Planet member company who allocates one percent of our revenue to initiatives that give back to environmental nonprofits to create a healthier planet. We are deeply involved in design and innovation efforts in our business and beyond, and believe that good design will be the catalyst to solving some of the world's most interesting problems. We have been recognized by the likes of National Geographic, Fast Company and other notable publications for our unique and alternative approach to the stagnation of typical oral care products.
